Splurge Monday’s Workwear Report: Unione Puff-Sleeve Body-Con Dress

Our daily workwear reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices.

Maybe it’s because we’ve all become a bit more casual in the last few years, but I’m not seeing as many swoon-worthy work dresses as I used to. This dress from Max Mara, with its gorgeous shape and slightly puffed sleeves, has just enough of the wow factor to break the dry spell.

While the description refers to it as a “body-con” dress, it looks to me like a normal sheath, perhaps with a tiny bit more stretch. I would wear this with some tortoiseshell pumps and classic jewelry for a great professional look.

The dress is $895 at Saks Fifth Avenue and comes in sizes 0–14.
