Happy hump day, ladies! Spring has sprung here on the blog, and I’ve got a bright and cheery spring try-on for you. Color is the theme of this post. I don’t know about you, but color makes me happy!

Colorful Spring Try-On

I’m sharing some tops from AVARA. This might be a new-to-you boutique, but they have the prettiest clothes, and I’ve ordered from them before. Last summer, I wore this same top (see below), and I loved it, so I grabbed one in this pretty aqua color.

This pretty green cardigan is from Target; I added a white crop tank because it’s a little low cut.

I love these Teddy sweaters from J.Crew Factory. They’re lightweight and perfect for spring.

This pretty floral dress from Target is so feminine, and I like its long sleeves.

This cute top is also from AVARA; of course, I love the sleeves and the Fuschia color.

This tiered dress is from Target and is a pretty spring dress for church. I sized down because of the style of this dress.

I styled this dress here in a different pattern, but this pattern is pretty for spring. I’m 5’5,” and this dress is a little short on me for church, but I would wear it out to dinner.

Lastly, I styled this blouse last week, but I wanted to show you how I will wear it. I added a pair of mules from Nordstrom Rack.

Now I need our weather to warm up so I can wear these clothes!

Beauty for the Heart~~ Do not listen to your false prophets, fortune-tellers, interpreters of dreams, mediums, and sorcerers who say, “The king of Babylon will not conquer you.” Jeremiah 27:9

Truth: In this verse, Jeremiah tells the Israelites not to listen to the false prophets, mediums, etc. Jeremiah wanted them to listen to the one true God.

If we’re honest, we can be like the children of Israel. We may not seek out a medium (I hope not!), but we let the news and social media influence our thoughts, and we can quickly become filled with anxiety.

When you feel anxious, turn off the television and even shut off social media. Turn on some praise music, read scripture, and be reminded of the promises of God. The more we dwell on God’s faithfulness, the less we’ll focus on all the negative things in our world.
