Truth: We live in a world that is full of troubles. There is war, poverty, disease, and natural disasters. We also have troubles and hurts in our personal lives, such as sickness, job loss, or even the death of a loved one.

But Jesus’ promise of peace is for us. He knows we will face troubles in this world, but He also knows we can overcome them through Him. He has already overcome the world, and He gives us His peace to help us through our trials.

If you’re facing trouble today, I encourage you to remember Jesus’ promise of peace (John 14:27).
